Europe 2024
I recently went on a trip to Europe. The first half featured a friend’s wedding in Paris, along with a goofy/cool bachelor party in Amsterdam. For the second half, I traveled by train from Paris to Rome, stopping at a few cities along the way.
Utah National Parks Trip 2024
Spent a week and a half touring Utah's national parks on a family vacation. This post includes select photos.
Europe 2023
A collection of posts from the 2023 trip to Europe with various friends. Locations include Barcelona, Cassis, Le Castellet, Marseille, and Paris.
Paris 2023
Paris had phases on this trip. The regular group accompanied at first, then a former colleague from long ago. Explored new areas, revisited favorites. Stayed up too late, got up too early.
Marseille 2023
While not technically a stop, we had a few hours to spend while waiting for a train. I decided to rush up to the church at the top of the huge hill, because I love back sweat that much.
Le Castellet 2023
We took the car from Cassis to visit some vineyards in the Le Castellet area of Southeastern France. A pivotal point on the trip, as a friend got engaged here. Not pictured: That.
Cassis 2023
Second stop on the Europe trip. Flew from Barcelona to Marseille, took a rental car out to the countryside for a love mission.
Barcelona 2023
First stop on a trip to Spain and France in July, 2023. Spent most days near the Gothic Quarter, stopping for small meals between small tasks. Perfect routine for an anxious American.
Tucson and Beyond
Photos from the last leg of the 2022 road trip. Last stop was Tucson, then finally the drive back to Los Angeles, home.
Toronto 2022
I’d been before on a different road trip years ago. Had some new experiences this time, repeated other actions in their own way. Toronto’s funny like that.
Quebec City 2022
Furthest point on the 2022 road trip. Was originally going to be Montreal, but I went because a friend in Chicago recommended it. A recommendation I’ll pass on to others.
Montreal 2022
Went to Canada because I heard a song in French by Melody’s Echo Chamber, I forget which. Was nice to not understand everyone, get out of American culture.
