Krakow, Poland: A Pleasant Reminder

 

I flew to Krakow to see Auschwitz. I won't be sharing photos from my visit to the concentration camp. Many photographers are skilled at extracting powerful images from horrible subjects, but I found no desire to exert photographic efforts.

However, I found Krakow restorative. The Old Town architecture and countryside outskirts reminded me of the pleasures of living freely, as Auschwitz reminded me of how precious that is.
